Your list (`learn this`, `respect that`) of what can be learned from baseball is -in principle- valid for ANY sport, even from football (soccer for you guys)[except of course for `learn to use your hands, not just your feet`]. You see, I (and most of the world) find it hard to feel passion for baseball or (worse) cricket... Maybe it is that lack of passion that makes it easier to apply that list of learn-this respect-that to baseball. Can we really learn to behave from sports...? I think respect of others etc must first come from home.
