| Just like my grandparents didn`t celebrate anything Polish, Lithuanian, or Russian. America is a way-station for Jews returning to their land; albeit a very generous one for which we ARE thankful. But that`s all it is. Thanksgiving? When I was there on a trip and it coincided, I celebrated at friends there. Here? Never. I don`t even remember it. Baseball isn`t part of my world here (not that it was in the old country either)- nor should it be. Baseball won`t make it here. |
