If the Palestinians used only words to put form to their woes, there`d have been a Palestine decades ago.
Words do not maim and kill. Words do do not create orphans, widows, or widowers. It`s not words that have created such a level of distrust between Israelis and Palestinians that a two state solution seems as unlikely as it ever has.
I`m much more concerned about actions; violent actions in the form of bombs and shootings. It is poorly conceived actions that have doomed Palestinian society; actions that, likewise, threaten to take down Israeli society with it.
Concern about Poets is misdirected concern indeed. |
