I am for the deal, and though my accord is there, it is not total: The arguments put forward by Mr. Shahar are not all that convincing to justify the deal with ex-President Mr. Katsav. The same thing can be said for Wardheim of Austria, and the election of the "criminal" Chirac. I rely on the good senses of responsibility demonstrated in many cases by Mazuz, and God knows that I and others have taken critical stands for some of his decisions. The case is weak to start with, no disrespect for A, but reality is as such that the case might have legal problematics; and this is surely the basis for Mazuz to try and extract the State from a possible quandry. Mr. Shahar is not convincing in his "defence" for Mr. Mazuz`s deal with ex-President, Mr. Katsav. |
