That`s a really interesting weekend story, however not really conclusive, incl. the balcony story; in case he died because of whatever reason, I don`t think it can be associated with the 1973 war, also because Rav Aluf "Dado" Elazar was very close with his assumption when the war would break out, only the political leadership, i.e. Mrs.G. Meir and Gen. M. Dayan did not take notice. The daughter of G.Abdel Nasser I am aware of is Prof. Dr. Hoda Abdel-Nasser if she is/was the woman of the spy, things would not have gone unnoticed by the Egypt. intellig. May be in a couple of years we will know the details, or "Al-Ahram" will surprise us.
