Why do you think you deserved anything? you went to the area occupied by israel, built houses and thrived on the backs of the natives and generally was a colonialist. You were a settler! that`s not something to be proud of but to be ashamed. Too bad about your depressed sons. Hopefully you explained yo them that since the settlement enterprise is entirely illegal, eventually people have to pay for their sins? while at it - you could apologize to them for being put in the position of losing their home. And while at it explain that it`s so much worse for others, like the palestinians. And 52 is not old. You can go back to school and learn and have anew career. In the us, where I often go, many people start a whole new career at 55 and new companies at 60. And if you want to farm, there are plenty of places in Israel proper, no? why do you have to farm on land stolen from others?
How about being a little enterprising instead of whining and stretching hand out for more and more donations and hand-outs?
