Any self expression can claim to be freedom of speech. However, if one uses that freedom for nothing else but to offend another, which is the purpose of having this parade in a religious city, one has to wonder about the maturity and integrity of these people. In fact, if all they claim is freedom of speech, it is because they have nothing else to say. Further evidence of their bancruptcy.
But they also know how to be physically violent. This writer got pushed and hassled by gay marchers in the past for holding a poster expressing disapproval.
Some years ago the KKK wanted to march in Skokie Illinois, a town with a large Jewish community. They too claimed freedom of speech. |
