| You must know that not all opponents of Israel are terrorists. But terrorists are still terrorists, whether they oppose Israel or have some oher agenda. As GSW pointed out, it was Hizballah, and not Israel, that initiated the hostilities last summer. But even more to the point, Hizballah has been complicit with the criminal Syrian regime (not my word - a Lebanese, Hussain Abdul Hussain wrote that wrote that in the Washington Post on June 14,07) in the assassinations of a host of Lebanese figures, most recently Walid Eido. Besides being cold-blooded murderers of LEBANESE politicians, they are a totalitarian organization rejecting freedom of the Press and religion (where they have the strength to do so) and so, objectively, without reference to Israel, are a terrorist organization. Let`s turn your question around: You think a terrorist organization stops being a terrorist organization just because it opposes Israel? Your anti-Israel bias is clear enough. Free Lebanon! |
