| Hizbollah knows that the Lebanese government is backed by the army. It would also have to contend with the large Druze community too. The Lebanese Prime Minister is forcibly holed up inside the Parliament building because of Hisbollah tactics. So Hizbollah for now is content with building up its arsenal (an illegal militia) with the connivance of its anti-Lebanese allies, Syria. Reminder! the last few weeks have seen deadly bombings in Christian neighborhoods and of Christian politicians. |
