Lydia, Israel is NOT armed with all US weaponry, they are far behind in UAV technology and other precision assault techniques that allow surgical strikes. Further, Hezbollah is better armed and better organized than any existing army in the Middle East save Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. Their weapons are reverse engineered US technology, including the most high tech anti-tank and surveillance technology.
Hell, last week when I was at the Lebanese border, we could see Hezbollah positions and their surveillance monitoring equipment. When Nasrallah ordered them to stop fighting, not a gunshot was heard....and you call that a ragtag militia? Sounds like discipline to me. Israel was fighting an army, not a terrorist group... end of story. |
