| Although I am not a religous person I aggree with the Shas Council of Sages.40 years ago I lived in Israel and Shimon Peres has always been there for us.Nobody can deny his absolute commitment to our comfort and safety. We Jews know how to respect our own.Not having put him in as Prime Minister , this is the greatest honour that we can bestow on one of our greatest modern Jews. Philip Mintz |
