| Israelis realize that the Arabs will not go away no matter how oppressed they are and continuing on the current path will NEVER lead to peace but will very probably lead ultimately to the destruction of Israel and many Jews around the world. How much longer will people be willing to let the "joy" of living in Israel over-rule the insanity of living in a permanent war zone before most leave? So how can Israel have a peaceful future? - many in Israel feel that ethnically cleansing greater Israel is the answer, but this entails killing or forcibly moving millions of people who will resist. This is NOT a practical solution for many reasons. - negotiate with all the concerned parties, including Hamas unconditionally. While many wish Israel had never happened, it exists and moving millions of people out of Israel is just as impractical as moving millions of Arabs. These negotiations will require Israel to very painfully give up lots of land, water and wealth. Israel has a choice to make |
