| It seems to me that the tables are turned a tiny bit here. Israel now holds `captive` (if that`s the way it`s being reported?) Palestinian "government" officials (Hamas administrators) and it`s time for the Palestinian "government" (loosely organized mess of greedy militia groups) to pull the strings it definitely has and release Gilad Shalit. I don`t know what needs to be done to reach this step, whether it be secret negotiators with Egyptian mediators or common sense, but it seems fair to me. If the groups who are responsible for Shalit`s captivity feel they are so victimized now they can bear the brunt of releasing Shalit. |
