It just seems that anytime there`s an incident of alleged rape in Israel, there are those people, like Joe in post #1, that hasten to condemn. One must realize that rape is a universal crime. All armies has raped, it`s usually considered an illegal fringe benefit for the soldier. You can trace the act into antiquity. However, if those that hasten to condemn would only look in their own backyard or to the statistics of their own armies they would be so ready to blast away. As to your statement regarding racism, that`s quite evident a problem when people on these pages highlight the act when it`s alleged a Jew has done it. At the very least, the Jewish girl can file charges and her family won`t perform an honor killing of her person to erase what they consider to be a sin. If that would happen the girl would be violated twice, one by the rapist and the second by a family member.
Quite unlike the usual Muslim response to rape, killing the victim for the sin against her. |
