..they are guests in a foreign country, their security have no executivee powers whatsoever and people need to respect the law of the place, the way I need to respect Israeli law when I come to Israel. All these antisemitism projections won`t help you at all, they are anachronistic and will only increase mutual misunderstanding.
Mind you it is not a general rule or self-evident that misbehaving foreign tourists will be welcomed with open arms by the local population. I still hope that the majority of Israelis doesn`t fall into that category. |
