Barak Ravid, Haaretz Correspondent, Haaretz Service and News Agencies: U.S. ambassador apologizes for remarks on convicted spy Pollard
Talkback
Title:#18 rob joins the Pollard-apologists
Name:Johnboy
City: SydneyState: Australia
rob: "Pollard didn`t sell in the info"

Seymour Hersh: "Pollard was known to have received fifty thousand dollars in cash from his Israeli handlers and to have been told that thirty thousand more would be deposited annually in a foreign bank account"

Based on his promise to continue spying for Israel for 10 years before coming in from the cold, Hersch estimated that Pollard "stood to receive an additional five hundred and forty thousand dollars ($540,000) over the expected life of the conspiracy"

I would tend to believe the person who has a Pulitzer Prize under his belt that a person who does not.

So, do you have a Pulitzer Prize, rob? Hersch certainly does, and a long, long career as America`s pre-eminent investigative journalist.
