To Paraphrase Bill Clinton`s campaign mantra - "its Israel`s actions, stupid."
Since the 1800s, the Arabs have consistently said they wanted independent states and no Jewish migration to the ME. What they got was dictators installed by their colonizers and Jewish invaders. So the current reality is the so-called moderate governments of Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia do NOT represent their people. If these three countries had free and fair elections, Israel would be surrounded by governments that hated it and tore up the past agreements. Until Israel faces the reality about its past 60 years, gives up all claim to the west bank and Gaza and compensates everyone that was effected by its invasion, more and more people will hate Israel. BTW - this is a problem that needs to be fixed soon, because Israel`s only friend will be abandoning Israel in the near future and once that happens Israel will be forced to accept conditions that they may not like, but will have no other choice. |
