The usual dark forces (the same that are drowning Iraq in chaos and have put the Lebannon back into the dark ages) would like to see both Egypt and Turkey become fundamentalist countries, turn their back to the west and face Israel.
They have appeal with the poor and desperate masses, as they do in Somalia, because they promise to give them charity and guns rather than the means for them to work and develop their way out of poverty.
These are the forces behind the Egyptian hate for Israel.
Their is a more rational side of Egypt who may not love Israel, but has it`s priorities right: development, peace and progress are more important than hate and destruction. |
