| Maybe this is a good thing. Self inspection and self critisism are the strongest tools to fight complacency and those who rest on thier laurels. No layman expected the security situation on the Norther border of Israel to be what it turned out to be. That was certainly the fault of complacency. One person, formerly responsible for security at Ben Gurion (I forgot his mane), when ask what his philosophy about security was replied something to the effect of "we beleive there is going to be an attack TODAY. This day, not tomorrow, there will be an attack". I encourage anything that brings the security services to the test, however I agree that information of this sort should not be leaked. |
