Scott, I thought, it was ashkenazim you had referred to as fake converts when you had written "thanks to Ashkenazim we have fake converts" and you meant to through Ashkenazim out when you wrote "get the fake converts out of here". Now, I realize you did not mean that Ashkenazim were fake converts. You probably meant that since Ashkenazim started the reform and conservative movements -which create most of these converts- therefore it is the guilt of Ashkenazim that these fake converts exists. Also, you probably meant to through these fake converts out, not the Ashkenazim themselves who - according to you - created them. In that case I apologize for the misunderstanding, but I still disagree with you on blaming Ashkenazim for the problem. The way it was composed, I don`t think your message was 100 per cent clear, therefore the misunderstanding. Add to that, that I did meet Mizrahim who do consider Ashkenazim fake converts, and Mizrahim who expressed satisfaction over the holocoust!!! |
