| Mr. Avineri makes very good and reasonable arguments in his article. The problem is, in most countries of this world it is exclusively the policital left which is willing and able to practise the painful exercise of self-criticism. The state of Israel herself is a (very) extreme example for that phenomena. And where is the political left in Palestine..?? Totally marginalized if existent at at all.... |
