Palestine owned 94% of the land, they had most of the population, they were thrown off their land without notice in 1947 based on a plan drawn up by Ben Gurion in 1937 called Plan Dalet which was based on getting 100% of the land and cleansing all of the arabs out.
Britain decided in 1919 to cut the Palestinians out of all negotiations. The British stood and watched as the Irgun, Stern and Haganah terrorist organisations cleaned out 531 villages, 13 urban centres and 800,000 innocent people.
The UN flew overhead and filmed it - bits of which we now see.
Tell me Shlomo - if the boot had been on the other foot would the Jews accept that they should lose most of their land without having a single say.
As you say it was a British mandate and they abstained from 181.
