| Just recognize conversions by the Conservative and Reform movements in Israel. All of the people mentioned in this article have invested much time and effort in their conversion studies and are part of Israeli society. The only reason why they have to "popover" to somewhere else to get an official document is because the State of Israel refuses to recognize that a person can be a committed, practicing Jew without being Orthodox or belonging to any of UltrOrthodox cults. |
