Olmert finds himself in the same position as the Lebanese PM Sineora - Both unwanted by a majority of their people and both want to hang on to their seats.
There are, however, some major differences:
(1) The US Ambassador is not rushing to Olmert`s residence to show support.
(2) The UNSC has not convened to declare that Olmert is the democratically elected PM and that the world should stand by him.
Olmert must feel jelous of Sineor(it)a! May be Olmert can get some Western sympathy if he sheds a tear or two? |
