"Israelis need to look up to EU and U.S. and learn the art of government. In Israel under one government you can be a minister of farming and by a new cabinet the same person can be a UN ambassador even though he/she may not have proper education."
If you take a closer look, you will see the same is true of both the US and the EU. Unfortunately, it is as much a problem for us, if not more so, as it is for you. We have apointed a car salesmen as embassador to a major allie who wasn`t realy a "people person" and preferred not to interact with others whenever possible and elected a peanut farmer, who now works on behalf of and in support of terrorists and dictators all over the world, to the presidency. These are just two examples. To list more would just be to depressing, but there are plenty of them. |
