| Some time ago living is small town in north eastern BC, I was approached by a gentile neighbour who knew I was Jewish (and proud of it), and told me how much he admired Koufax not only for his pitching skills but perhaps more so because on that Yom Kippur he counted himself more a Jew (and a man of faith) than a baseball player. |
