Since Iran can never prove itself innocent (for how can anyone totally prove the absence of anything?), what this "guilty until proven innocent" policy means is that it enables America always to retain a veto over Iran`s nuclear programme.
Effectively it is saying that Iran can NEVER have a nuclear programme, an infringement of its legitimate rights.
There is now therefore no point whatsoever in Iran remaining a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and it should withdraw.
It would then join Israel, beyond the reach of the UN`s IAEA.
