As an Australian of Lebanese descent, I cannot understand why is it that people, who willingly or otherwise, continue to live in the Middle East, on both sides of the Israeli/Arab divide, continue to look for war lords to elect/appoint as leaders. The Middle East has had enough of those. Olmert might be an inapt military leader, but this is beside the point. The Middle East needs more Sadat-like leaders; leaders who are brave enough to seek peace; true peace.
