| Clickfool is obviously correct that a full-scale Iraq-style invasion is now completely off the table, but GWB and Olmert might still be thinking of airstrikes. The War Room wargaming would go like this: GWB: We`ll hit this, these, and, oh, that. Olmert: Great, tho you overlooked *this* one, but leave that to my boys. GWB: Faaaantastic. Should take, what, 5-6 days, then we`re done. Olmert: Our boys can finish our target list in 5-6 days too. A week, tops. SANITY: And then what will the Iranians do? GWB: Huh? Whowhat?? Olmert: Umm, say again... the... who? SANITY: Oh, fer crying out loud..... The Iranians are sending a message to sanity, so let`s hope it taps these two clowns on the shoulder before its too late. But maybe it IS too late, and Cheney stops sanity from ever entering the Oval Office. Too terrible to contemplate.... |
