Yes, nuclear deterrence works, but only if both sides fear the consequences of its failure. Such was the case during the Cold War`s doctrine of M.A.D (mutually assured destruction). However if one of the sides glorifies death, destruction and virgins, the M.A.D Doctrine becomes absolutely meaningless. After 9/11, even harmless hate mongers like Clickfool know what Islamo-Fascists are capable of, and that the rules of the game are completely different. The Islamo-Fascists will stop at nothing to achieve their goals. Clickfool is so blinded that he doesn`t care the the Islamo-Fascists threaten the fabric of his society more than it does Israel`s. Everything is kosher for Clickfool, even if he and his family are directly threatened. As long as his dream of an Israel free Middle East is kept alive in his feverish little head. |
