| This is one of the few areas we disagree on. Just watching Bush and Cheney over the last few weeks, there has been ample evidence that they are "true believers" that will do whatever they want regardless what anyone tells them. It is still very possible that Bush will launch an attack on Iran. Of course as soon as the results hit the US people like a freight train, he will immediately be impeached and his replacement will be looking for the fastest exit, but a lot of damage will be done that will be unrepairable. I think Israel is starting to back peddle because they have figured out just how catastrophic it would be for Israel if Iran is attacked. Israel can not survive an all-out, no holds barred war. It truly would be the second holocaust. Per the futures markets the chances of an attack on Iran has gone down, but it is still very possible. |
