There is no appetite among the American public for another mad foreign adventure in the Middle East, and Bush has no mandate for an air attack on Iran.
Furthermore Bush will have been advised by the Pentagon`s wargamers that any such attack is fraught with extreme danger for America and the West.
All that is new emerging from the Bush administration and from Israel is hot air.
"Diplomacy" will not work, sanctions will not work and empty threats of military action that Iran knows is unlikely will not work.
Iran will, over the next 5 to 10 years become a nuclear power. |
