First of all, the Palestinians are not ready for a state. These Arabs living next to Israel would immediately form a terrorist state ready to go to war with Israel to "get back" the land they think is theirs. They have shown no indication they can co-exist with Israel. What do they bring to the table except a slowdown in suicide bombings, a slight drop in Qassam launches, hoarding an enormous amount of weaponry in Gaza, and propagating the most vile anti-Semitic literature since the third Reich.
Israel should revisit the idea of peace talks with the Palestinians in 25 years and see if they`ve made any progress in becoming a civilized people. |
