Since the first Jewish dairy farmer at Sinai had to milk his cows on the Sabbath out of necessity , the laws handed to Moses have had to be reformed. Thought, reflection, and REFORM are part and parcel of any living belief system. Dar I say that G-d spent most of the Torah re-inventing himself for the better; perhaps we should do the same.
