| In my youth, we called people like this pseudos (pseudo-intellectuals). These folks, not understanding intellectual pursuit, substituted emotion for rigorous reasoning, which must be founded on a verifiable basis. So his experimentation with Christianity ( a belief-based theory), resulted in vapid emotion, and his work has been incomprehensible. |
