You fall into the typical trap that haters of Israel and the Jews have fallen into since time immemorial. It involves either dismissing their abilities and achievements and relegating them to a footnote in history, or depicting them as an octopus with omnipresent tentacles which know where you are even before you do.
Israel is a tiny nation, and the Mossad is a tiny organization. It has neither the mandate nor the means to influence every event around the world which might have some bearing on Israel. It is an organization dedicated to defusing imminent threats to Israel`s existence, and the security of the lives of its citizens. Along comes this Johnny-come-lately Ross character, full of self-importance, and publishes his big `expose`. Unless he is some high-ranking officer in the hierarchy, which I doubt, it comes as no surprise that the employees only vaguely remember him. |
