| Here`s how simply it works:1) The Russians foment Islamic passions in Iran and Syria EXACTLY as their agents have been doing for years.2) They sell these nations sophisticated weaponry (Russia has been unable to test anything it makes since their ignominious defeat in Afghanistan); 3)They foil all western diplomatic efforts with perfectly contrarian positions to the US and yes, the EU. ....examples are the sanctions on Iran and the still-unheld investigation into the Syrian murder of Hariri and other western-oriented reformers in Lebanon. With all that as their foundation they begin to promote war as they are doing right now with their statements about Syria and Israel. They have not changed and will not change. |
