| If sanctions cannot work, it is mainly because the hypocritical EU is strengthening the mullah regime in Tehran. The EU is the biggest Western trade partner of Iran. The leading role is played by Germany. When it became known that the mullahs are after the bomb, trade between Germany and Iran doubled 2000-2005. Last spring German TV stated that FM Steinmeier was involved in a huge scandal, knowing for years that Germany sent secretly and illegally parts for the Iranian nuclear programme. The US State Department protested already under Clinton with the German government, but to no avail. The nuclear Holocaust preparations in Tehran were only possible with great help from Germany and the EU. Sanctions will never work, as long as hypocritical EU will not be stopped. |
