| It is the height of arrogance for the Foreign Ministers of the very countries that attacked Israel in 1948 and lost; that threatened Israel in 1967 and lost; that challenged Israel again in 1973 and lost to basically ask for a return to where things were before they (the Arab nations) messed everything up in 1967. As another poster has so wisely stated, they never did manage to give their "Palestinian" brothers and sisters any autonomy(let alone an independent state for all the years they controlled the Palestinian population and now, they insist Israel do exactly what they demand in exchange for "recognition". Moe, if it were as easy as you make itlook in your post #1 I would counsel every Israeli I know to take the chance but, so far, your people have given absolutely no reason to believe that a return to the 1967 status quo ante would mean peace for the Jews in their land. |
