Because the UK government is, rightly, keeping an eye on anti-semitism and raising the issue occasionally, this will now be used by people posting on this site to portray the UK as some anti-semitic hellhole, much like Germany in 1938.
Obviously there are specific tensions between Moslems and Jews, but I see little evidence of anything but minor irritation over Israel`s policies towards Pals and Lebanese among the majority non-Islamic community. Certainly any tensions here are dwarfed by racial tensions in Israel with apparently 50 per cent of Jews wanting Arabs to immigrate, something like 65 percent not wanting to live next to one, and in the news today, the IDF widows blacklisting Druze and Bedouin. You want to talk real racial prejudice, look closer to home. |
