Sharon pulled out of Gaza, broke away from Likud and formed Kadima. Olmert`s Kadina platform included pulling out of the West Bank. Most of the country supported these two moves and the leaders who proposed them. So what is the purpose of your nonsensical and inaccurate statement?
Perhaps the result of the Gaza pullout and the war that was imposed on us last summer has something to do with Israel`s mistrust of the Palestinians (as well as Olmert`s serious unpopularity at this time). You keep talking about Likud, but I hope you`ve noticed that Likud hasn`t been in governmemnt for quite some time now. Sharon sidelined them so that he could implement his pullout program. |
