| If the United States turned against Israel (in some far-fetched scenario) I have no doubt American Jews would be as antipathetic to theUnited States` policy as the Israeli Arabs are to Israel`s visa vie the Palestinians. When peace finally happens, the Palesinian Arabs who are Israeli will feel pride in being Israeli. Andd they will be loyal citizens. The crisis between our peoples produces anger and resentment and inhibits the natural sense of Israeli patriotism whiich will blossom among all as equals in the future. |
