| Albanina history goes way back in Kosova, even before the Slavs moved into the region. If there is any nation on the planet who is not obessed with religion as a means of ethnic idenitifaction, it is the Albanians. In fact I can`t think of any one else. Catholic Albanians in Kosova have nodiffernt opinions on Serb control over them than the Muslim majority. The Druze exists with an interesting strategy according to their religion. They often align with enemy states, since if one group is destroyed the other will still survive. More on Israeli Arabs later. But a distinction has to be made before individual and collective recognition. |
