| In `91, when the Scuds were falling mostly in Tel Aviv and we never knew if they were loaded with gas or not, many of us never left the city, and we sat in our bedrooms, gas mask on face, simply waiting for the thing to pass. There was plenty of parking available on my street and perfect peace in other places. It soon became obvious it was a life lottery, but the end was clearly in sight as the Iraqian army was being destroyed rapidly by the Americans. Now it`s different! WE will have to destroy the enemy, because there will be no Americans around. And for the enemy there will be NO lottery, but rather certainty. |
