| Dear God, let all people of any religion live in any country that they wish in peace and love. Let the Polish and other Slavic Jews come back and rebuild their homes, their synagogues, their cemeteries. Let love and forgiveness rule forever. Let the fiddler play on the roof, let everyone get together and share one another`s holidays, great food, dancing, singing and stories. That is how I was brought up by my DP parents who lived in harmony with everyone in Europe before the scourge of WWII. |
