| No doubt, the sexual revolution has not yet reached big parts of the Muslim, and especially the Arab world. But I am afraid, we "Westerners" are definitely not the ones who have any justification to moralize when it comes to this issue. Because with our totally "oversexed" world, we are not really giving a good example to the Arabs, what an open, free society can bring on advantages. The gay and lesbian question may not be directly related to this, but they are the ones who are paying the first price for the incapability by big parts of the Arab world to react in a reasonable way when it comes to questions of mankind and sexuality. |
