| Rubin the liar spews this hatred: "it is solid jewish teaching that we are entirely responsible for any enmity or hardship we experience." Really? Prayer tell us, Rabbi, is that from the Talmud? Misnah? Gates of Repentance? Mimonades? Buber? How strange in all my years of Jewish education I never heard of that particular teaching? You, perhaps, should re-read the 10 commandments. There is one in there about Not Lying. Shame on Ha`aretz for letting this one go by. OTOH much of what they print follows this line of reasoning. So maybe one the Ha`aretz editors can complete my Jewish education by telling me exactly from where this line of reasoning comes. Bradley Burston? Amira Hess? Even Jimmy Carter? Educate me please. I`ll check back later to see the chapter and verse. |
