I did search on History Prof. Toye. http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/news/press/dpp/2006112702 He`s publicizing his new book. Of course, headlines by Reuters` helps. One interesting thing i found was Churchill`s copying of HG Wells` phrases like the Gathering Storm and Selective Breeding: Wells advocated the idea of selective breeding, arguing that people should only be able to have children if they met certain conditions ? including physical fitness and financial independence. Not long after reading the book, Churchill was described by a friend as ?a strong eugenist? ? a supporter of selective breeding.
