| Much of what Bradley says is right-on. However, by not merely abandoning their Jewish roots but by openly scorning them, the secular left has by default allowed these clowns to set the agenda for Judaisim. You can`t fight for your right to eat a pita with ham and cheese during Pesach and then argue that Halacha prohibits us from ascending the Temple Mount. Or that while the building of the Temple is a key mitzvah the implementation of the mitzvah will need to wait for moshiach. I`m not saying that Bradley eats pork sanwiches on Pesach since I have no idea what his personal observance is. The point is that by cutting themselves off from their Jewish roots the secular left has lost its ability to participate in the debate over the direction of Judaism and the Jewish people. |
