These thugs have nothing better to do than make life even more difficult than it already is under Zionist occupation and daily onslaught. Religous zealots, be they orthodox Jews, who attack people and businesses for being open or out on the sabath or these Muslim religious thugs, religious extremism should not be tolerated anywhere. If these idiots try this nonsense in Ramallah, they will meet stiff resistance. The environment in Gaza is more dire and it`s fertile ground for religious extremism. The answer is obvious, end military occupation for a Palestinian state to emerge with a STRONG government and institutions to take hold. Otherwise, extremists, thugs, and gangs will continue to roam the streets and impose whatever self-serving agenda they espouse. In this case, it`s a primitive moral code but there are other destructive elements who are up to no good as well that Abbas needs to get a handle on. |
